Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Last night, it got down to 13 degrees down here in South Georgia. We left the sprinkler on last night and woke up to a "Winter Wonderland" in our front yard. The children had a MARVELOUS time walking around on the frozen grass and breaking ice cicles off of the trees. As of lunch (when these pictures were taken) most of them were still there. It was cool to hear them cracking and creaking. We should have tempratures in the 20's tonight, so hopefully they will be around tomorrow too.

If you can't have real snow and ice, you may as well make it yourself! Ice is so pretty, and lucky for us, we only have it a few days a year. Happy New Year!
